This post has been published by me as a part of the Blog-a-Ton 39; the thirty-ninth edition of the online marathon of Bloggers; where we decide and we write. To be part of the next edition, visit and start following Blog-a-Ton. The theme for the month is "Break"
She walked up to her desk early morning. She had a particular P1 ticket waiting for her for which her boss had called up late last night. A null pointer exception wreaking havoc in their client's code.
There was a small post it pasted on her display. A note from her boss?? May be.. some more development that had happened over the night.
She read it. Damn!! It was that dumb Romeo from the neighbouring team who had proposed to her friend last month. He was trying for her now.. what a loser!!! It read:
Look what you're doin' to me
I'm utterly at your whim
All of my defenses down
Your camera looks through me
With its X-ray vision
And all systems run aground
No way to control it
It's totally automatic
Whenever you're around
I'm walking blindfolded
Completely automatic
All of my systems are down
Down, down, down
So please accept this <3
Yours only
:)
She opened her mail client and typed out a mail to her Romeo:
Dear Romeo,
Thank you for your melodramatic mail but I would like to point out to you that you are using an abstract class which is emanating the stink of a polymorphed piece of code that you copy pasted on my display. I know of many such polymorphed objects have you instantiated in this office. So just try to be an encapsulated function and set show_yourself=FALSE so that I don't see your face and call the slap() or whack() methods on it.
You are a private class. So don't try to call yourself from my program because your constructor is so badly inherited that its chalu() method that it sets my IRRITATION=TRUE.
So gimme a break by hitting a CTRL + BREAK and stop trying to cast me into YOUR_OBJECT_OF_ATTRACTION as communication with this.object:: java.lang.NullPointerException
