Lovely layers of colours...
Beautifully overlapping colours...
Disjointed by names and shades...
Conjoined by mind...
Mingled by hand...
Scattered to form...
this form of art...
This post is my entry for the PADE conducted by “Just a mom” and “ Things to rave about”
Lovely and neat rangoli! I wish I could make one like this..mine is never so neat :P
ReplyDelete...sigh....
Even I can't make one like this. But this one is made by a guy :D

Thanks Ritu
DeleteIn fact I used to put rangolis when I was a kid, no where near these awesome ones though :), rangolis have gone out of fashion these days, people only put rangolis on some compititions, there was one in Bangalore couple of months back where people had put rangolis on a road which was made free from traffic that day :)
ReplyDeleteThanks for visiting Shrikanth and sharing your thoughts.. Yeah its rare to see rangolis, especially in urban areas due to paucity of time and space.
DeleteLove these pictures. Appear so delicate. We used to do with flowers during Onam(a festival in Kerala)
ReplyDeleteThanks Sini. Flower Rangolis also look very pretty.
DeleteSupe dude.
ReplyDeleteAlways awesome to see rangoli is so warm and vibrant .The poem goes well like a hot hot foaming coffee with bajjis.
ReplyDeleteThanks Nikhil
